about the event
The Art of Goodwill is a unique opportunity that taps into the creativity of selected Kentucky artists. The program gives these talented artists access to our 66 stores to gather materials they repurpose to create unique works of art. The artifacts are then displayed at an auction event at the Speed Art Museum in Louisville.
Due to uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Goodwill has canceled the open call for artists and is postponing The Art of Goodwill.
This was a difficult decision as The Art of Goodwill has evolved into our signature event of the year. Event proceeds fund programs and services that provide second chances and transform lives, helping people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment through what we call “the power of work.”
Without the ability to raise these funds, Goodwill may be forced to scale back our services at a time they are needed most. If you'd like to support our mission and help bridge that gap, follow the link below and navigate to "make a gift."
